as influenced by richards recent post on the atricle about seeds and the way their casted into models. i decided to take a bit of time looking at some weird but interesting ideas. found this page on a group of students who found a way of designing different types of walls with unexpected materials and using a sustainable sense within the scheme!
image 1 = 'Undressed wall' made of used cd's
image2 = 'Plastic Bottle Wall' made of plastic water bottles, labels and straws.
image3 = 'Hemp Varn Enclosure' not sure what exactly this material is, im, guessing its string of some sort! but
its quite funky in creating a semi transparent screen.
image4 = 'Plie Wall' made of plastic cups partially cut into strips and connected. the concrete feet can be moved and re-adapted and re-usable.
image5 = 'Paper composite Board' constructed from shredded office paper that is turned into pulp blocks and then dried in a kiln
image6 = Metamorphis skin' is made of gelatine moldedinto a variety of shapes and transformed into a series of interconnected panels.
image7 = 'Interactive wall' this can be changed continuosly by users.
